All About Fall Camp Wannastamp!

I love boxes, bags, totes - anything that you can carry stuff in! I saw this cute pumpkin basket on Stampin' Connection and wanted to offer it at my All About Fall Camp Wannastamp! Everyone loved it! All About Fall Camp Wannastamp!

Here is a card we made at my All About Fall Camp Wannastamp that uses the French Foliage stamp set. I am thoroughly enjoying this set and I've been using it constantly over the past several days. I like that there are a couple of elements added into the set - the postage mark, the script and the spots - rather than just a set of leaves. We used the Ink and Roll technique on the leaves to get that wonderful two-toned effect. I believe I saw this card on Stampin' Connection. The recipe is below. All supplies used and shown are from Stampin' Up! To order these great products, visit my 24/7 online store at www.pennythomas.stampinup.net and click on "Shop Now."

I LOVE THUMPING - and that's what we did on this cute little card at my All About Fall Camp Wannastamp! You ink up your stamp in one color - then use markers in other colors to thump (thumping is kind of like bouncing) around on the inked-up stamp! It gives you a nice spectrum of color and it works beautifully for fall things like leaves, trees, and pumpkins. The recipe is below. All supplies used and shown are from Stampin' Up! Simply Adorned Halloween Bracelet!

Isn't this just the cutest thing you've ever seen? I could just SQUEEZE it! I had a Simply Adorned Paper Charm Open House last Saturday - one of the most fun events I've ever had - and one of the participants, Kathy Boudreaux, came up with this adorable Halloween bracelet! Of course we were ALL on it and had to make one for ourselves, and I'm just eating him up! The other side of the charms has different skeleton body parts - and he's now my new best friend! I am on fire for the Simply Adorned line now, and with the Simply Adorned Holiday Bundle (124076) that Stampin' Up! is offering, you can get the 1-1/4 X 1 charm, the 24" chain, and the Charming set, which goes perfectly with the Simply Adorned line, for a reduced price of $39.88. I'm so happy now, I have him in my charm collection! He's from a retired stamp set called "Scary Skeleton," but there are so many other CUTE Halloween images that would work with the bracelet charms. To order the bundle I've listed above, just visit my 24/7 online store at http://www.pennythomas.stampinup.net/ and click on "Shop Now."

Christmas Card No. 1!

To order Stampin' Up! merchandise, you can visit my 24/7 online store at http://www.pennythomas.stampinup.net/ and click on "Shop Now." Isn't this card luscious? I got this beautiful card idea right out of our current Stampin' Success magazine. I reversed the colors that are shown in the magazine because I wanted my card base to be Cherry Cobbler. This was a very simple card to make, but I like the POW it gives you, and what greeting could be nicer than "Merry & Bright"! Here's what I used: Cherry Cobbler card stock (119690); Early Espresso card stock (119686); Naturals Ivory card stock (101849); Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper (120810); Bright Christmas stamp set (121678); Antique Brads (117273); and Chantilly Crochet Trim (118480). Halloween Frame!

To order Stampin' Up!'s amazing merchandise, you can visit my 24/7 online store by going to www.pennythomas.stampinup.net and click on "Shop Now." This frame is available from Stampin' Up! in the Definitely Decorative brochure (117599). What I love about it is there's a 4 X 4 open space in the middle so you can seasonally change out the stamped picture! I added some Black Satin Ribbon (117285) and a tag using the Extra Large Tag Punch (119866) and I've got a great home decoration for Halloween. The 4 X 4 area is covered with glass, but if your decoration has 3D items on it, you can always place it on top of the glass instead of underneath! I'm going to really enjoy this frame, changing it out for every holiday. I purchased the stand from a frame store, but I'm LOVING the frame itself! I think this would make a lovely gift for someone, especially if you provided them with a new 4 X 4 stamped decoration each month!

Missing Button!

Has this ever happened to you? This past week I've been churning out Christmas cards like crazy trying to decide which ones I would offer for my Jolly Jingle Christmas Card Workshop coming up next month. Over the past week, I've made 46 different Christmas cards! One of the cards called for a big Cherry Cobbler button. Realizing that I couldn't purchase those in bulk for the number of cards being made at my workshop, I resorted to making my own Cherry Cobbler paper button, which is really fun to do! I glued four circles together, ran it through my Big Shot to get texture on the top of the button, punched two holes in it and then threaded Linen Thread through it - just like a button! I then added Crystal Effects all over the top to make it shiny, just like a button, and then set it aside to dry. Well, I got busy making all kinds of other cards and when I looked for my button, IT WAS GONE! I turned my office upside down looking for the silly thing only to find that it was attached to my shorts - Crystal Effects side down, unfortunately, ruining my shorts. I got the biggest chuckle out of this - I amuse myself sometimes - and had to take a picture of it. Pitiful, huh? I was walking all over the place looking for that button and it was attached to me the entire time! Ha! You gotta wonder sometimes!

To order COOL Stampin' Up! merchandise, visit my 24/7 online store at www.pennythomas.stampinup.net and click on "Shop Now"! Look what I've been making! I love my bottlecap necklaces and now I want one for every holiday! I stamped my monogram with the Monogram Sweet stamp set, which unfortunately is retired. I then used my 1" circle punch (119868) to punch it out; ran my SNAIL Adhesive (104332) all across the back and adhered it to the bottlecap; squeezed Crystal Effects (101055) all across the top to make it nice and shiny; let it dry for 24 hours; attached the three Basic Rhinestone Jewels (119146) with Crystal Effects (after removing the adhesive from the back of the jewels). I then punched two holes with a 1/16" Circle Punch (101227); added my jump rings for the chain and to hang a beautiful Simply Adorned Pink Crystal Bauble (121013) and Black Crystal Bauble (121011) from it - and VOILA! I LOVE IT! Although the two stamp sets I used are retired, many of our alphabet sets or Halloween sets would work nicely for this! Now I've got to make a beautiful Christmas one! Any suggestions on which stamp set I should use?
WOO HOO! LOOK AT THIS! Here's more jewelry made with Stampin' Up! merchandise! My sister Pam gave me this as a thank-you for our Brenham Demonstrator Retreat! I can't stop gushing over it! It's colorful and fun and I love the sound the buttons make while you're wearing it - just like a charm bracelet! She used our Simply Adorned Bracelet (117342) and attached our Brights Buttons (119747) and clear Bitty Buttons (118761) to large jump rings - and then attached those to our bracelet! FUN? You betcha it is - and you can make one, too! She said it didn't take nearly as long to make as she thought it would! This would be a GREAT Christmas present for all the Stampin' Up! fanatics in your life - you included!

September Card Sample!

To order Stampin' Up!'s amazing products, visit my 24/7 online store at www.pennythomas.stampinup.net and click on "Shop Now"! My son just recently got his driver's license, so to celebrate this wonderful occasion, my sister Pam sent him this adorable car card made from punches! Isn't it the cutest thing you've ever seen? She placed a $10 bill inside so he'd have a little gas money. Isn't that fun? We like the red star - it reminds us of the old Texaco stations! THANK YOU, PAM!
