Let's Hear it for the Boys Camp Wannastamp!

Here's a graduation card we made at the "Let's Hear it for the Boys" Camp Wannastamp! I have a lot of Katy Tigers who attend my camps, and their school colors are red and black, so this card was a big hit! I also understand it's Texas Tech's colors, too! Change it to your school colors and it's still a great card! It is appropriate for a girl, as well! I got the basic design from Splitcoast and changed it slightly for my purposes. The recipe is below. All supplies used and shown are from Stampin' Up!

Oldie but Goodie!

Can you ever learn how to make enough boxes? Boxes are one of my favorite projects! Here's a cute snowflake box and a cute Christmas box. Each one holds four little matching cards!

Oldie but Goodie!

This is a CD case we made years ago at a Christmas stamp camp, but it is one of my favorites! I love to use non-traditional colors for Christmas! I always thought this would be perfect for a Beach Boys Christmas CD! There's a circle wheel that's been rolled across the bottom that you can barely see. No recipe is attached - it's just for your viewing pleasure!

Oldie but Goodie!

We made this a couple of years ago at an Easter stamp camp! It holds a little notepad inside and has a place to store your pen - so clever! I always liked this idea and I love how it can be used for any occasion or holiday! Wouldn't it be fun to make a Christmas one to carry around in your purse with your gift list in it? Then as you get those gifts, you can mark them off your "to do" list! No recipe is attached - it's just for your viewing pleasure!

Oldie but Goodie!

I was asked long ago to create a bridal shower invitation for a gal whose wedding theme was cowboy and cowgirl! Yup, you heard me right! I think it's kind of weird, too - and I struggled with incorporating a bridal look with a cowgirl, but I thought this turned out pretty good! It's been so man-handled over the years that it's looking pretty worn now, but I always wanted to remember this in case I was EVER asked to do that again! No recipe is attached - it's just for your viewing pleasure!

Oldie but Goodie!

I love little books like this! Here are two little books we've made in the past - they're more like a miniature scrapbook to hold little pictures. The cool part is that on the inside, all of the pages are made from one 8-1/2 X 11 sheet of card stock! No recipe is attached - it's just for your viewing pleasure!

Oldie but Goodie!

My stampin' buddy, Anita, asked to see a copy of this card - and I totally panicked because I couldn't find it! What would I do without a sample of this card - it's one of my favorites? I always keep a hard copy of the things I love so I can remember exactly how they look, and when I couldn't find this card, I was miserable! So after tearing through boxes and boxes of samples and spitting nails looking for it, I FOUND IT! I've realized after this that I would like to memorialize lots of my old cards and projects on my blog so I'll always be able to refer back to them! I'll be posting lots of my old cards and projects that we've made in years passed, so bear with me through it! I feel better knowing they're on my blog! I got this idea from Splitcoast. This card uses Pretty in Pink card stock, Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon, the 5-Petal Flower Punch, black brads, and Stampin' Dimensionals! This card can be changed to any color - and it's GREAT! Changing it to Whisper White card stock or Very Vanilla card stock and using gold or silver brads makes a gorgeous wedding card!

A Mother's Day Card from Connie!

Look what my stampin' buddy, Connie, sent me! I have seen quite a few of these flower pots on Splitcoast, but I think Connie's card is the prettiest of all! The pot is made using the scallop envelope die for The Big Shot, and the flowers are Big Shot dies, too! Isn't this great? I love the hidden message that pulls out! Thanks, Connie, for sending me such a gorgeous card. It made my day to receive it! All supplies used and shown are from Stampin' Up! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO EVERYONE!

A Variation of One of my Cards

At my "It's a Girl Thing" Camp Wannastamp, we made a beautiful card using the "Soft Summer" stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog. If you look below under older posts, you will find the cards we made; however, one of my stampin' buddies, Debbie, changed her card a bit to make this wonderful card instead, and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. She changed the image to another stamp in that same stamp set and reversed the ribbon from the top of the card to the bottom of the card. She used Sahara Sand ink and then colored in the flowers with a blender pen using Pink Pirouette ink. I flipped over it and offered her $10 if she'd give me the card - AND SHE SAID NO! Anyway, she was kind enough to let me photograph it so I could share it with you. Isn't it lovely? By the way, Debbie wanted me to be sure to let everyone know that she actually copied this idea from Tess at the stamp camp! WAY TO GO, TESS! Your card is simply gorgeous!

A Card from Diane Byles' Workshop

Here is a card we made at Diane Byles' workshop! Although this card is great for a male or female, it tends to lean to the masculine side, and I think the colors are gorgeous! What is fun about this card is since we don't have markers in the "In Colors," we inked up the willow (or whatever it is!) in Always Artichoke, used a wet Q-tip to remove the Always Artichoke ink from the flowers, and then used a dry Q-Tip in the lid of the ink pad to ink up the flowers in Baja Breeze. Worked like a charm! I cased this card from Splitcoast. The recipe is below. All supplies used and shown are from Stampin' Up!, with the exception of the Q-Tips!
Recipe:
Paper: Kraft - 8-1/2 X 5-1/2; Manchester Designer Paper (the Kraft plaid print) - 5-1/4 X 4; Manchester Designer Paper (the Always Artichoke plaid print) - 5 X 3; Very Vanilla - 4 X 2-3/4
Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers (P. 58 of the catalog)
Inks: Always Artichoke; Baja Breeze
Miscellaneous: Q-Tips; Eyelet Border Punch; Stamp-a-ma-jig; Always Artichoke Grosgrain Ribbon - 11-1/2" long; Stampin' Dimensionals
