Oh, soooooo scary, but oh, sooooooooooo fun! This is another card that we made at the Howl-O-Ween Camp Wannastamp! If you are turned off by a detailed image that requires a lot of coloring in, don't be turned off anymore! You can use the spotlighting technique and then you only have to color in the portion that is spotlighted! All you do is stamp the image on two pieces of paper, then punch out a 1-1/4" circle from one of those images. Color in only the punched-out circle, adhere it to a 1-3/8"circle in a coordinating color, pop-dot it in place on the unpunched stamped image, and you have a fun spotlighted card! What you may not be able to see very well in the picture is that I sponged ink in the background because, after all, it's twilight and it's spooky outside! It's time to go trick-or-treating! The recipe is below. All supplies used and shown are from Stampin' Up!, except the cute little googly eyes! This sample doesn't have googly eyes on the mummy, but it's adorable when you add them!
