I love this little trio of Halloween cards! They are 3 X 3, which makes them small and cute! What do you do with 3 X 3 cards? WHATEVER YOU WANT! They are cute on gifts; you can stick them in a regular-sized envelope and mail them; you can place them on someone's desk just to let them know you're thinking of them; or you can place them on a small stand and use them for seasonal decorations! Cards don't have to be 5-1/2 X 4-1/4 - and I'm glad you can change up the sizes - it keeps things interesting! I saw this cute trio on Stampin' Connection. Here's a nice 7:00 a.m. card sample - and I feel happy now, I got to make a card! To me, the simplest cards are the prettiest - it's just my style for some reason. I like heavily embellished cards, too, but it's always the simple, elegant ones that catch my attention. I saw this beautiful card on Stampin' Connection and wanted to make it. I have no earthly idea who it belongs to, but she did such a great job. The only change I made to mine was to add the Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, which adds elegance all by itself - I love that stuff! I hope you'll enjoy this card - and happy fall to you!

Halloween Card Sample!

Good morning to you! I've had my Halloween fix AND my 7:00 a.m. card fix satisfied this morning with Ilina Crouse's adorable Halloween card. She used our black chunky glitter where I used our new Black Flourish Jewels; she used Rich Razzleberry Taffeta Ribbon where I used Rich Razzleberry Satin Ribbon; and she used a different punch at the bottom of her card where I used our Eyelet Border Punch, but she gave me a great springboard for an AWESOME Halloween card this morning! Unfortunately, a photo never shows the richness of the colors, or maybe I'm just bad at taking photos! Thanks, Ilina, for getting me SO EXCITED about Halloween and my Halloween stamp camp coming up! 7:00 a.m. Card Sample!

I'm back to my 7:00 a.m. cards - and that always starts my day off right! Before the phone starts ringing and things start happening, I sit down and make a card I've been wanting to make! Here's a cute one. The original card idea came from Stampin' Connection, but I totally changed it to suit my style. It's so nice to start with a base idea as a springboard and then change it to suit your style. I send birthday cards to the members of The TOPICS!, so if you have a September birthday, you're probably going to get this card. It looks super-cute and girly-girl with a Pretty in Pink ribbon instead of Certainly Celery, but I liked the contrast of the Certainly Celery ribbon! In addition to the 80 birthday cards I send out every year to The TOPICS!, I also send out three cards a month to my top salespeople, a card to any new recruits who join our group, and a card to the recruiter. When I add in thank-you notes and cards I send to my family and friends, I send out approximately 200 cards a year! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? And I don't EVEN want to add in the Christmas cards I send out every year - that would bump me up to a total of around 350 cards a year! That's almost one card per day, per year! No wonder I get so far behind with things, but I wouldn't even think about NOT sending the cards - it's so much fun to make each one! Hope you enjoy the sample!
