I've Retired from Stampin' Up!, but I'm Still Stamping!

Hello!  I wanted to post this news because it's a BIG change in my life!  Yesterday, June 6th, I officially retired from Stampin' Up!  That is BIG news because for the past 15 years, I've been a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and loved every single minute of it!  My association with Stampin' Up! was nothing but wonderful and amazing!  I was fortunate enough to earn trips that took me to places in the world I never would have had the opportunity to see!  I also made LOTS of stamping friends from all across the United States, many of which I will remain in contact with.  I also learned how to rubber-stamp - a hobby that will bring me much peace, happiness, and creativity for the rest of my life - which brings me to my next point:  I intend to keep my blog going!  Many of my stamping friends have asked me to keep it going, so I'll be happy to share whatever I'm currently working on.  I'm feeling like a kid in a candy store, though.  Since I'm no longer a demonstrator for Stampin' Up!, I feel free to purchase other crafting supplies - and I've been doing that quite a bit lately (as if I really need more things - ha!).  Because of that, the cards and projects I'll share on my blog may now consist of supplies other than Stampin' Up!  Hope you don't mind - many of you have told me you don't - so that explains why you may see other supplies listed.  Alrighty then, let's move on!

I just made a bunch of these cards for a retirement community that is nearby.  I thought it would be nice for them to use for their residents or staff.  They were elated to receive them - and it made me feel really good to use my time and my supplies to do something nice for them!  We both win!  This card was designed by Susanne Netz.  I changed the greetings so there was a nice selection for the retirement community to use.  All of these supplies are from Stampin' Up!  The recipe is as follows:

Paper:  So Saffron, Whisper White
Stamps:  Petite Petals; Happy Day
Inks:  So Saffron, Basic Black
Miscellaneous:  Petite Petals Punch; Stampin' Dimensionals; Stamp-a-ma-jig; Pearl Jewels

Check back regularly for more cards and projects!  HAPPY STAMPING!

  5. Wow, big decision, but I am glad you are keeping your blog. I have been so inspired by you and have absolutely loved to see what you created over the years. In fact, I always wished I lived by you so you could be my SU mentor. Can hardly wait to see what you create in this next phase. There are so many amazing products out there, and while I love SU, I also love other products. It is fun to use them all. Best of everything.

  7. Thanks for your kind and encouraging words! I'm having fun! I've been stamping more than ever - and that feels good! I have a group of friends who still want to get together to stamp - and that makes everything perfect! Wish you were all close so we could have fun stamping together!
