Founder's Circle - Day 1!

Well, this has certainly been a CRAZY day for me! I left Houston and flew to Salt Lake City, Utah, and then flew from there to St. George for the Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle trip. Every time I visit Utah, I am struck once again by its beauty - and I never get tired of coming here. If you've never been to Utah, put that on your bucket list. It's majestic and indescribable. You've just got to experience it yourself. Here I am posing with two of my friends, Ann Clemmer and Karen Johnson, before boarding the plane.

I feel like Amelia Earhardt!

I took a picture inside the plane so you can see how small it is - one seat on one side; two seats on the other. The thing that always gets me is that when you look out the window, you can see the propeller turning. Last time I was a little scared, but I loved it this time! The trip was so much fun, the scenery was gorgeous, and I got to see so many of my Stampin' Up! buddies!
We are staying at the Marriott Courtyard in St. George - and Stampin' Up! always gives us a big welcome sign!
Inside we get to enjoy a sweet shoppe - very similar to what they had for us at the convention - only this time, the goodies are real, not made from paper!
We each got to select the caramel apple of our choice - and of course I went for the apples drizzled in chocolate, caramel, and dipped in pecans! The apples below were dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with cinnamon. I didn't get to taste one, but people told me they were divine!
Here I am getting ready to play Plinko! I won a spool of wide black grosgrain ribbon. The fun part is, we get to play Plinko every day we're here! Hope I win something COOL tomorrow!
The theme for this Founder's Circle trip is the 60s. Here's Shelli Gardner welcoming us to Utah - and she looks cute in her cat-eye glasses, doesn't she? Really, Shelli looks cute in anything she wears!
Here are two of my dinner mates this evening, Jo Golden and Jacque Craig.
Below are two more of my dinner mates this evening, Dawn Griffith and France Martin. I'll tell you what, I've never laughed so hard in my life as I did this evening sitting at the table with these gals. Dawn Griffith is a hoot, and when you pair her up with France Martin, well, you're going to wet your pants.
Below are two more of my dinner mates this evening, Sharon Armstrong and Jenny Peterson. We all enjoyed the evening immensely.
My other dinner mate is April Lopez. April is from TEXAS! WOO HOO! Sharon Armstrong is from Texas, too!
We all posed together with our cat-eye glasses on! For what purpose? I don't really know, we just felt the urge!
We had Beef Wellington for dinner - with "SU" on top of the beef!
And for dessert, have you ever had fried cheesecake? Neither had I - but it was delicious! All of our placemats were old album covers from the 60s!
I'm exhausted, and when I came back to my room, I found a nice little surprise on my bed. It's a to-go box filled with a stamp set, a punch, some ribbon and ink pads! I'm tired, but I could stamp right now! Tomorrow, a tour of the Kanab Manufacturing Plant where they make all those rubber stamps that ROCK MY WORLD!
